ABOUT BALTIC SEA AMBER

Baltic Amber, aka "Gold of the Sea" or "solidified sunlight," is one of the world's oldest and most envied treasures. It is a fossilized tree resin formed by light and life, preserved by time, and washed up on the shores of the Baltic Sea. It is warm to the touch and light to wear. Baltic Amber is revered for its high concentration of succinic acid. Each bead is a beautiful and unique piece of history - a fossil from an ancient forest!

Sizing is important! Never buy your child a "one size fits all" necklace. To find the most appropriate length for your child, we recommend measuring using a piece of string. You should be able to put two fingers between your child's neck and the necklace and the child should not be able to reach the necklace to his/her mouth. Our jewelry is made for wearing, never for chewing!

SAFETY

Our jewelry has been lab-tested for safety in a USA CPSIA-approved lab and is approved for children age 0+. Our children's jewelry is individually hand-knotted between each bead so that if the necklace were to break, only one bead would be released and not the entire strand. Our necklaces are designed to break away at 10lbs of pressure -- If you (or your child) tug on the necklace, it will snap at the clasp. Our necklaces are available with plastic screw clasps (unless a pop clasp is noted), each with a safety release built in.

Warning: Necklaces contain small parts. Children must be supervised at all times while wearing jewelry.

Wear your Baltic Amber necklace next to the skin, under clothing. For children, remove jewelry during nap and sleep times. Avoid chlorine, detergents and cleansers. To care for your Baltic Amber, clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.

I'm a First time mom. And I put this on my baby to help with drooling and it seems he is always wanting to chew on something and gets frustrated until i can run the toys over his gums. Hes 3 months old and hasn't developed to motor stills to place the toys exactly where he wants them. But after we started using the necklace he doesn't need the toys as often and doesn't get as frustrated. He also drools significantly less. I ordered one of the Baltic Amber Teething Necklace's for my 6month old daughter off of the recommendation of a friend. Beautiful necklace! Only problem is one of the beads broke in half and fell off just the second time I wore it :/ now it looks weird so I can't wear it. I got one for my toddler too in the child size and it seems to be helping with her teething pain

I love the packaging the necklace comes on and the beads we received were beautiful. Tight knots between each bead and a breakaway clasp for safety. It went immediately on baby. Our toddler has worn hers since she was tiny, but this one is so beautiful I'm considering getting the toddler a second necklace.

What a relief!

My almost three month old was obviously teething and we both needed relief. I had heard a lot of Mommas swear by Amber Teehing Necklaces. I'll admit I was skeptical, but not anymore. Before I start, I want u to know this review in no way reflects your store. I think your store is great, your service is great, and I am eager to make my next purchase. That being said, this product has not worked for us at all. So far, I've had my daughter wear it 3 dif days. All 3 days she had significantly increased fussiness & gassiness. My daughter is NEVER fussy, not even when cutting her first tooth. I only got the necklace because cutting that tooth made her really sick so I thought it'd help with that. But even that's hard to say because by the time I got it, the illness passed. I have to be honest, I am scared to put it back on her. I just think it must effect her differently than the average baby. I have several friends who have purchased this same exact necklace (raw honey) from u who state it's the best thing that ever happened to them. I think it's a great product that unfortunately just wasn't for us!
